ICARUS

THE STORY 

ICARUS is night armour for a modern muse. The column is sewn over entirely with black sequins that shift like a starling murmuration at dusk — thousands of small darknesses moving as one. At the shoulders, the dress asserts itself: structured cape panels rise and fall with the arm, crowned by beaded epaulettes that catch the light with military precision. The reference is aquiline, not martial — a bird mid-display, elegance with a wingspan. Beneath the drama, the line stays disciplined and close, floor-length and unbroken. 

FABRIC & COMPOSITION 

Hand-applied sequin embroidery on crepe base — 90% polyamide, 10% elastane; cape structure interlined; full lining 96% viscose, 4% elastane. 

STYLING NOTES 

Nothing at the ears; the shoulders have spoken. A sleek pump and a sharp lip complete it. For award ceremonies, fashion evenings, and rooms with photographers. 

CARE 

Professional dry clean only, beaded-couture specialist required. Store flat or folded in acid-free tissue; sequins should not bear hanging weight for long periods. Never iron.
