VIGNE

THE STORY 

VIGNE is Chantilly lace the colour of poured wine. The gown is sheer where it dares and shadowed where it counts, its burgundy lace running unbroken from the high draped shoulder to the floor. Over one shoulder, the lace lifts into a cape drape that falls behind like an evening remembering itself, while a slit ahead keeps the walk fluid. The effect is aged, in the way of good vintages: nothing rushed, everything arrived. 

FABRIC & COMPOSITION 

Chantilly lace — 70% polyamide, 30% viscose; cape-drape overlay in matching lace; partial slip lining 96% viscose, 4% elastane. 

STYLING NOTES 

Garnet at the ear, hair swept to the side away from the cape. For autumn galas, wine-country weddings, and dinners of long conversation. 

CARE 

Professional dry clean only, lace specialist. Store folded with acid-free tissue; lace prefers rest to hanging. Steam from a distance; never touch lace with an iron.
