SCARLETT

THE STORY 

SCARLETT is scarlet argued from two directions at once. Above, discipline: a high-neck bodice and long sleeves in red floral lace, covering the arms to the wrist and continuing into matching gloves — couture's most polite provocation. Below, release: a draped satin sarong skirt wraps the hips and opens in a decisive slit, the lace beneath continuing the pattern against the skin. The dress understands that red is not a colour but a register, and it plays the entire scale — from ceremony to seduction — without changing key. 

FABRIC & COMPOSITION 

Corded floral lace — 70% viscose, 30% polyamide; draped sarong skirt in fluid satin — 97% polyester, 3% elastane; body lined; gloves in matching stretch lace. 

STYLING NOTES 

No jewellery beyond a ring worn over the glove. Hair severe, heel sharp. For evenings of consequence — premieres, galas, and anniversaries counted in decades. 

CARE 

Professional dry clean only. Hang carefully; store the gloves flat with the dress. Steam the satin drape lightly; never press the lace.
