DIANTHUS

THE STORY 

DIANTHUS is red lace given a mid-century silhouette and modern manners. The bustier bodice rises structured and exact, edged with scalloped lace at the cap sleeves; the sheath follows the body to tea length, where the scallops return at the hem like a signature repeated. Matching gloves finish the composition with archival polish. Shorter than a gown, more ceremonial than a cocktail dress, it occupies the elegant middle ground where the great couture clients of the past spent most of their evenings. 

FABRIC & COMPOSITION 

Corded floral lace — 70% viscose, 30% polyamide; structured bustier with internal boning; body lining 96% viscose, 4% elastane; matching lace gloves. 

STYLING NOTES 

A pointed pump and a low chignon honour the silhouette's heritage; a red lip is not optional so much as inevitable. For cocktail ceremonies, theatre evenings, and dinners with history. 

CARE 

Professional dry clean only. Store hanging with gloves flat; keep lace clear of catches. Steam gently — never iron directly.
