DAPHNE

THE STORY 

DAPHNE revives the oldest silhouette in the canon: the Grecian column, gathered at one shoulder and released in long rose-pink folds that follow the body like current follows stone. The jersey is draped rather than cut wherever possible; the open back completes the classical line. Nothing is beaded and nothing needs to be — the ornament is the fold itself, renewed with every movement. Worn today, the gown does what it has done for millennia: it turns walking into gliding and light into an accessory. 

FABRIC & COMPOSITION 

Draped couture jersey — 94% viscose, 6% elastane; partially lined to preserve the fall. 

STYLING NOTES 

A flat gold sandal is historically accurate; a heeled one is contemporary. Gold cuff, bare neck. For summer evenings, seaside ceremonies, and museums' gala nights. 

CARE 

Professional dry clean only. Hang to store — jersey re-drapes itself overnight. Cool steam if travel presses the folds.
