THE STORY 

IGNIS sharpens coral-red satin into sculpture. The strapless mermaid rises to a bodice crowned by a single dimensional element — a sculpted petal, or a flame, depending on the light — standing away from the body like fire caught in still air. Below it the satin is smoothed close from bust to knee and released in a controlled flare. The gown makes one gesture and commits to it entirely, in the conviction that a silhouette, like a fire, needs only one point of ignition. 

FABRIC & COMPOSITION 

Duchess satin — 72% polyester, 28% silk; sculpted element interlined for permanent shape; corseted lining with internal boning 96% viscose, 4% elastane. 

STYLING NOTES 

Ears bare or minimal; the sculpture at the bodice is the statement. A gold sandal beneath. For red carpets, galas, and grand entrances generally. 

CARE 

Professional dry clean only. Store with the sculpted element padded in tissue so it keeps its stand. Steam the satin body only.
