MAELSTROM

THE STORY 

MAELSTROM is black transparency set spinning. Across the sheer body of the gown, beadwork traces swirling currents — eddies of glass drawn from shoulder to hem, mapping the water's turn. At the bodice, a lace-up plunge closes the neckline with couture rigging, cords crossing like a sail being set; a high slit releases the stride below. The gown is worn over its own shadow, sheer and patterned at once, and it rewards motion extravagantly: every turn of the body sets the current moving again. 

FABRIC & COMPOSITION 

Hand-beaded swirl embroidery on sheer tulle — 90% polyamide, 10% elastane; lace-up bodice detail; nude underlay slip 96% viscose, 4% elastane. 

STYLING NOTES 

Sleek hair, dark manicure, a heeled sandal that vanishes. Jewellery is already sewn on. For red carpets, fashion galas, and evenings near deep water. 

CARE 

Professional dry clean only, beaded-couture specialist. Store flat in tissue; loosen the lacing before storage. Never iron.
