CROCUS

THE STORY 

CROCUS continues where daylight ends. The mermaid gown is cut in saffron-yellow crepe, fitted from bust to knee and released in a soft flare; its richness arrives at the extremities, where long illusion sleeves and the upper back are embroidered in gold thread — filigree laid over transparency, jewellery grown into the garment. The effect reverses convention: the body of the gown stays matte and pure while the sleeves carry the treasure. Saffron has always been the costliest of harvests; here it is measured in thread. 

FABRIC & COMPOSITION 

Sculpting double satin — 95% polyester, 5% elastane; illusion sleeves and back in gold-embroidered tulle — 90% polyamide, 10% elastane; body fully lined.  

STYLING NOTES 

Gold studs only; the sleeves are the statement pieces. Hair drawn up to reveal the embroidered back. For golden-hour ceremonies, autumn galas, and evenings lit by candles. 

CARE 

Professional dry clean only, embroidery specialist. Hang with the sleeves free; steam at a distance from the goldwork.
